Position Summary:
Reporting to the Machine Shop General Supervisor, this position will create and maintain Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) programs for all Machine Shop CNC equipment. Responsibilities include reviewing engineering drawings, creating/modifying CNC programs, and working with various departments to initiate program/process improvements.
Skills & Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of programming CNC equipment in a metal fabrication environment, including lasers, punches, press brakes and tube bending machines. Excellent communication and time management skills, combined with strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities are essential. Knowledge in Radan, SmartCam , TOPS programming software and MS Office required.
Note:
Employees of the Company who are not already qualified as journey persons shall be given preference in selection for participation in the specified apprenticeship program.
