To create and maintain accurate technical manuals in the fast-paced manufacturing environment, the right balance of electronic publishing expertise and technical “hands- on” knowledge is required.  New Flyer Publications employs highly skilled specialists with many years experience in both traditional and electronic publishing. Writers and editors also have extensive bus system technical knowledge, which ensure  QA through every step of the process.  The Publications team includes Management & Administrative staff, Project Coordinators, Technical Editors, Illustrators and Writers, Data Management Technicians, Desktop Publishers and Graphic Artists.

Customer input is sought to improve our documentation products for end users, while new applications and innovations are continually evaluated to improve the information delivery process.

New Flyer is committed to lead the industry in quality assurance and to continually improve, by providing timely and high quality publications. As an ISO 9001-certified company, all procedures and processes are properly defined and documented, with dedicated editing and project coordination quality control staff operating within system of checks and controls.

New Flyer Publications operates a computer-based electronic publishing environment.  Initial engineering BOM data is gathered using ORACLE, subsequently producing final page layouts. Output to paper and CD is achieved using  Adobe Framemaker® and Acrobat®. All manuals are printed in-house with high-speed digital printing equipment.
